INTRODUCTION
Singapore is well regarded as a Garden City. Besides the efforts to plan for and nurture the greenery of Singapore, significant emphasis has also been placed on research and innovation, to promote operational effectiveness and efficiencies, as well as develop new applications that will support the new strategies to transform Singapore into a City in a Garden.
The Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology (CUGE) is pleased to announce a one-day CUGE Research Seminar to present the highlights of recent research undertaken, as well as to share information on new research ideas and possibilities. In addition to presentations by researchers of the National Parks Board, the seminar will also feature invited presentations by our research partners, the Singapore-Delft Water Alliance (SDWA), and the Centre for Sustainable Asian Cities (CSAC). The seminar aims to raise the awareness of research studies that are relevant to the City in a Garden vision of Singapore, how the results can be applied to your work, and to encourage discussions on research ideas and collaboration.
Please join us at the CUGE Research Seminar for a fruitful and enriching experience.
